Having spent some time testing these sails in a variety of conditions we have come to the conclusion that although technically the material is a little heavy for the A suit it is very flexible and works well so we will be offering our laminate sails in A, B and C suit sizes.

We are very pleased with the performance of the material over a broad spectrum of wind speeds and it lends itself to the B and C suits very well indeed.

Over time we will aim to find a lighter weight alternative to allow us to produce a better all round  A suit but in the meantime please find below prices for the three suits.

Specs

Material weight 1.5oz (64g) for all three suits, which is a little heavier than many sailmakers use, however we are confident that the sails are at no disadvantage apart from the A suit in very very light breeze.

The fabric contains precision laminated light weight taffeta film with aramid warp inserts.

Sail finish specs are exactly the same as our film sails apart from the head reinforcement on B and C suits, which is different to what is shown here. Sail numbers and jib luff wire are also included.
