How to order from us.

There are a couple of ways to order from us, they are all pretty simple.

At the bottom of each page there is a link to our new online shop which will allow you to easily order and pay for the products that you require. This generates an order direct to our inbox which we will then deal with and keep you updated about.

Alternatively you can send us an email using the contact details on the contact us page.

Payment Methods

We have a number of payment methods available through our online shop, the card facility offered by Shopify (our online shop providers) is super secure and easy to use and doesn’t cost us as much as the Paypal option (1% shopify vs 3.5% paypal!) but its up to you which option you use.

How We Ship Goodies to You

For the majority of our Soch Sails items we have found that our domestic Royal Mail service is as good as anything out there.

For sails and stickers we send them in a sturdy cardboard tube and they go out as a first class small parcel.

Deck patch sets and sail numbers are sent out as large letters in sturdy A5 envelopes.

Postal Costs

Having sent lots of orders recently (Oct 2016) we have had a few overseas parcels not arriving at their destinations having being lost by the mail service. Up until now we have not used tracked or signed for services with our parcels and we have seen a near 100% arrival rate. However having had parcels go missing we now see it as a prudent move to send all our overseas shipments on a tracked service. Where possible we will send them tracked and signed for, although some destinations will only allow tracked service. As such there has been an increase in the shipping costs to overseas destinations, something that we have been reluctant to do but something we feel offers you guys more peace of mind when placing an order with us.

The UK costs have increased a little as we didn’t update them back in March when RM costs went up.  We have also added a new shipping rate for UK customers which allows you to request a signed for service, apparently Royal Mail don’t track UK parcels!

Our postal rates are in line with current Royal Mail costs plus a tube or envelope.
